Description

The Lead Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Responsibilities

The Lead Solutions Architect works with business partners to understand what problems need to be solved or what business outcomes need to be achieved.  With that information, the Lead Solution Architect designs a conceptual solution leveraging the right technologies & solutions to meet the objective.  The types of problems will be diverse in scope and range from moderate to substantial complexity.  This specific role is aligned to the Digital Space which includes designing conceptual solutions related to Humana's Websites and Mobile Apps including MyHumana, Go365 and Humana Pharmacy.

• Person will influence and set technical direction in the Digital and Mobile application space. Provide architectural strategies & solutions, assessments and road maps for Digital & Mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to provide solution architect expertise.
• Contribute to and lead the build vs buy decisions from a technical leader perspective in collaboration with the business & delivery leaders.
• Communicate and present technical aspects, risks, challenges, and selling points of a solution to IT and Business partners.
• Identify, evaluate and assess risks to mitigate them and eliminate any factor that might hinder the successful delivery of a solution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8 years of architecture/engineering experience
• Deep functional  and technical knowledge of digital platforms including Content Management, Search, CIAM, low-code tooling, and cloud-based web and mobile services.
• Proven experience in end user solutions for large corporates where uptime and continuous availability is core to the business.
• Experience in the development of mobile software technology strategies & native IOS mobile application development
• Experience delivering platform and product architecture for enterprise scale solutions in Azure and GCP cloud environments.
• Skilled with broad, conceptual understanding of the technology architecture trends and direction coupled with demonstrated technical mastery with digital technologies & frameworks
• Ability to influence teams & business partners to a future state with a focus on incremental value.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital channels
• Master's Degree
