Business Development Manager: C-4 Analytics

C-4 Analytics is a fast-growing, private, digital marketing company that excels at helping automotive dealerships increase sales, increase market share, and lower cost per acquisition. We are currently hiring for a Business Development Manager as we look to expand our team and support our growing roster of local and national clients.

Who We're Looking For: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager works closely with the sales team and executive management to lead a team in identifying qualified leads in order to drive business growth. The Business Development Manager plays an important role by ensuring Business Development Representatives make first contact with prospects and winning appointments for their teammates in sales to present C-4's unique value proposition. The BDM reports to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO).

A day in the life of a Business Development Manager: 

  • Distribution and balancing workload among employees in accordance with established workflow and job specialization.
  • Provide individualized coaching on-call approach
  • Ensuring the Business Development team members adhere to the following expectations:
    • Prospect via cold calling, email, social media outreach 
    • Leverage existing data and also identify key contacts and account information 
    • Develop and foster relationships with prospects 
    • Develop qualified opportunities for the sales team to pursue and close
    • Book one appointment per day on average
    • Maintain a high level of activity. 
      • Average 100 activities per day (or 2000 activities per month)
      • Average 1290 calls per month 
      • Average 120 connects per month.
    • Maintain a show rate of at least 70%
    • Perform complete cadence management
    • Thoroughly follow and complete the sales process when booking appointments. (invites sent, discovery calls set, SalesLoft / Salesforce up to date with correct data, etc...)

Requirements:

Must-Haves

  • BA/BS degree
  • At least three (3)+ years of supervisory experience leading an inside sales team in accomplishing assigned work and also performing non-supervisory work required by Business Development Representatives.
  • At least five (5)+ years of inside sales experience in a high volume, cold-call sales environment, objection handling experience and qualifying decision-makers
  • At least five (5)+ years of CRM experience using software such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Hubspot, etc to maintain clean sales pipeline data
  • Operate as a self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Nice-To-Haves

  • Digital Marketing Agency experience selling digital marketing services or related services
  • Prior experience training and onboarding an inside sales team 
  • Automotive industry knowledge
