To support our continued growth, Interactions is hiring an Associate Sales Director. The Associate Sales Director is responsible for sales of Interactions solution offerings to a set of Named Accounts within a given vertical market segment covering the US and Canada. The primary objective of the sales group is to meet and exceed bookings and revenue expectations by prospecting and selling to new customers, growing existing customer revenues and providing solutions to all customers through a consultative relationship. The Associate Sales Director serves as a member of the account team and is expected to build effective relationships with across the whole organization in order to be most effective.

 

 

  • Responsible for expediting sales for the aligned team

  • Responsible for strong understanding of the business dynamics of the assigned vertical segment:

    • what drives customer investment behaviors;

    • strategies applied to create compelling business value

  • Coordinate and attend trade shows & events in assigned vertical 

  • Collaborate with Business Analyst team on development of business cases, proposals, and legal contracts both internally and externally

  • Responsible for effective articulation of Interactions' unique selling points and value proposition as well as a broad understanding of key market competitors

  • Responsible for input and maintenance of sales data and performance within salesforce.com CRM

  • Responsible for attendance and successful completion of required training classes and various developmental activities. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in understanding Interactions' Products and Service

  • Expedite sales process so that we can build productivity of the sales organization

  • Grow sale expertise and knowledge over time, to eventually develop, plan and sell new accounts if that is the aspiration of the individual 

  • This will have alignment to team quota as a measure of success, not be owner of clients nor own quota

  • Estimate travel time 30% 


 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, business, communications or closely related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Business Development sales experience

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player

  • Must be an articulate communicator and instinctive listener.

  • Exceptional relationship builder.  Able to establish personal credibility and trust with prospects and customers. 

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced environment
