Role Overview

A Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for the company’s products or services. As the first point of contact in the sales process, the SDR is responsible for building a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities that enables the sales team to perform at its best.

This is a performance-driven outbound role, focused on pipeline creation through cold calling and qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Proactively conduct outbound calls to SME owners and decision-makers using targeted prospect lists
  • Assess prospects’ interest, eligibility, and readiness for FlapKap’s financing solutions

Appointment Setting

  • Secure and schedule high-quality, pre-qualified meetings between interested SMEs and FlapKap’s Account Executives or Commercial Team

Pipeline Management

  • Accurately log and maintain detailed records of all outbound calls, conversations, and outcomes in the CRM system
  • Ensure a clear, structured, and reliable sales pipeline

Product & Market Understanding

  • Develop a strong understanding of FlapKap’s financing products, SME use cases, and eligibility criteria
  • Engage prospects in informed, confident conversations while setting accurate expectations

Performance Management

  • Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for outbound activity, qualified leads, and booked meetings

RequirementsExperience
  • 1+ year of experience in sales, telemarketing, cold calling, or an SDR role
  • Background in B2B sales, fintech, financial services, or SME-focused roles is a strong advantage
Communication
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English
  • Confident, professional phone presence
  • Ability to handle objections and guide conversations effectively
Performance Mindset
  • Target-driven and highly self-motivated
  • Comfortable working in a quota-based, high-accountability environment
  • Resilient and able to perform consistently in a high-volume outbound role
Availability
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, performance-focused sales environment
