Role Overview

With tremendous adoption from the developer community, we’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive our next stage of growth. This role is essential to building and scaling CodeRabbit’s Go-To-Market (GTM) engine by generating new business pipeline, qualifying inbound leads, and proactively reaching out to high-value prospects.
You’ll be on the front lines of our customer acquisition efforts, working closely with our GTM and Sales leadership to identify opportunities, spark meaningful conversations, and fuel CodeRabbit’s growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly driven, curious, and eager to make an impact at an early-stage startup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, identify, and engage new prospects through outbound outreach, networking, and creative prospecting strategies

  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into high-quality opportunities for the Account Executive team

  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and determine fit with CodeRabbit’s solutions

  • Become fluent in CodeRabbit’s product and value proposition to effectively engage technical and business stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and qualification criteria

  • Maintain an organized pipeline in the CRM and consistently achieve weekly and monthly activity goals

  • Share learnings and insights from prospect conversations with internal teams to help refine our GTM motion

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (SaaS/PLG/tech preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • A curious and empathetic approach to understanding customer challenges and aligning them with CodeRabbit’s value

  • A self-starter mentality: comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and motivated to exceed goals

  • Grit, resilience, and persistence when it comes to outbound prospecting and building relationships

  • An eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a rapidly scaling GTM team

Bonus:
  • Familiarity with developer tools, AI, or open source ecosystems

  • Experience in a Product Led Growth (PLG) environment

  • Proficiency with sales engagement tools and CRMs

OTE for this role is $102k, with a base of $72k. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
