Position Description:
FlexGen’s Business Development team is currently searching for a Strategic Analyst to support the sales and revenue of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) products. Reporting to the VP Commercial Development, the Strategic Analyst will work cross-functionally to research and find new customers and markets, while creating reports for new account development. Responsible for data tracking and analysis, the Strategic Analyst will provide support to the global Commercial team tracking KPIs, with the opportunity to learn and grow alongside the BD team.


Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential BESS clients and determine their suitability for FlexGen’s software solutions
  • Reach out to qualified leads to learn about their needs to assess the potential for deals
  • Research US and global markets to help grow FlexGen’s client list
  • Understand FlexGen’s products and services to connect with the client's needs and values
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and ensure efficient follow-up
  • Regularly report on sales performance, forecast future sales, and identify areas for improvement

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy or related field
  • Recent graduate-3 years’ experience supporting sales or business development
  • Experience in the renewable or energy storage industry preferred; A solid understanding of BESS technologies and the value they offer to customers
  • Must have experience in working up Target Addressable Market (TAM) and New Market Entry initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience or exposure to a sales function; work with CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred
  • Proven track record of reporting up and across an organization for data driven decision making
