Provides nursing care and medication support across multiple correctional and healthcare facilities in the Southern Region. Ensures adequate staffing and cross-coverage, follows medical standards, and delivers compassionate patient care while traveling between program locations. The part-time role requires working more than 40 hours weekly when scheduled.
Location: Multiple locations in the Southern Region including Boston Pre Release, Old Colony Correctional Center, MCI Framingham and MCI Norfolk
Pay Rate: $40.00-$44.00/hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift that can be flexible with what day is needed

The Regional Travel Nurse is responsible for:
- Providing general nursing care to patients across multiple facilities within a designated region.
- Supporting nursing operations by ensuring adequate staffing and cross-coverage across various locations.
- Performing duties in accordance with medical standards while delivering compassionate and professional care.
- Working more than 40 hours per week and travel between program locations to ensure patients receive their daily medications as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required.
- Must have current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
- DOC experience preferred
