The Project Manager, Paid Search plays a critical role in executing and optimizing paid search campaigns that drive business growth. As part of the Growth Marketing team, you will support campaign planning, budget pacing, and performance monitoring across key platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Working closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Analytics, and Pricing teams, you'll help translate business priorities into high-performing campaigns while leveraging data-driven insights to improve performance and deliver measurable results. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the setup, launch, and ongoing management of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Build and maintain campaign structures, including campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and extensions aligned with best practices and business priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day account operations, including bid adjustments, keyword optimization, and budget pacing.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure campaigns, promotions, and offers are accurately implemented.
  • Set up and manage promotional offers aligned with merchandising and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize toward key performance indicators including CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, and ROAS.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance product feeds and improve the performance of product-based search campaigns.
  • Support testing initiatives across ad copy, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and landing page experiences.
  • Analyze performance data and develop recurring reports that highlight results, trends, and optimization opportunities.

What's needed - Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics-heavy role, including marketing, analytics, finance, or economics.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing campaigns against key performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Familiarity managing paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms.
  • Experience with keyword research, bid management, and campaign structure development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs.
  • Experience with marketing technologies and platforms such as Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

What's needed - Preferred Qualifications

  • Paid media experience.
  • Google Ads Certification and/or Microsoft Advertising Certification.
  • Experience with product feed management and shopping campaigns, including Google Merchant Center.
  • Familiarity with bid automation tools or scripts.
  • Experience working in retail, eCommerce, or high-volume transactional environments.
  • Exposure to campaign testing methodologies and optimization strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.  The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, business considerations, geography, and internal equity.
