Staples Print Solutions helps businesses and consumers bring their brands to life through high-quality, end-to-end print services, from business cards and marketing collateral to signage, large-format graphics, and custom solutions. In this role, you will shape the learning experiences that equip Enterprise and Retail Print teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes at scale.

What you will be doing:

Own the Print Solutions learning program from strategy through measurement. Reporting to the Sr. Manager - Technical Training, you will partner with subject-matter experts and business leaders to identify learning needs, architect curriculum, and personally build engaging, media-rich experiences for Staples' Enterprise and Retail Print teams.

• Own the Print Solutions learning program end to end, including strategy, roadmap, development, launch, measurement, iteration, and representation to business leaders and partner teams.

• Design role-based learning paths and curricula with clear objectives, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, assessments, and manager reinforcement tools.

• Create learner-centered experiences across asynchronous, virtual, in-person, and blended formats using adult learning and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, and action mapping.

• Build self-paced digital learning in Articulate 360, including Rise and Storyline courses, interactions, branching scenarios, knowledge checks, simulations, reusable templates, and LMS-ready packages.

• Concept, script, shoot, and edit video; create graphics, motion elements, presentations, and other polished, on-brand media that elevates the learner experience.

• Lead discovery and content-gathering sessions with Print subject-matter experts, suppliers, sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders; manage reviews and drive alignment and sign-off.

• Use AI thoughtfully to accelerate content drafting, storyboarding, scripting, media production, localization, assessment development, and program operations in line with Staples policy.

• Partner with fellow program managers and the broader L&D team to workshop ideas, prototype new formats, pilot solutions, measure results, and share standards and best practices.

• Develop training roadmaps for new-hire onboarding, ongoing Print sales development, manager training, and core L&D initiatives, including performance management, CRM, engagement, functional learning, and selling methodologies.

• Maintain knowledge of custom Print products, specifications, production processes, design and ordering software, and emerging technologies; translate that expertise into clear learning content and customer experience guidance.

• Assess Print and selling capability gaps, facilitate learning sessions and team effectiveness meetings, provide coaching to managers and associates, and use metrics to inform continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A creative point of view and a passion for building learning experiences that people genuinely want to take.

• An ownership mindset, with the drive to set a high standard, follow through on details, and remain accountable for outcomes.

• A collaborative approach to working with subject-matter experts, stakeholders, suppliers, sales leaders, and fellow program managers.

• Curiosity about AI, sound judgment about where it adds value, and enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging technology responsibly.

• Comfort workshopping, prototyping, piloting, and iterating in the open to challenge the status quo and improve results.

• Strong communication, facilitation, public speaking, relationship-building, and executive presence across audiences from field associates to senior leaders.

• Emotional intelligence, resilience, positive energy, adaptability, and a passion for learning and development.

• Strategic and analytical thinking, knowledge of sales processes and evolving selling and buying trends, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • • 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or learning experience design, including development and facilitation of sales training content.

  • • A portfolio or work samples demonstrating curriculum design and digital course development.

  • • Professional experience using Articulate 360, including Rise and Storyline, or comparable eLearning authoring tools, as well as producing digital media such as video scripting, shooting, editing, graphic design, or motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent tools.

  • • Professional experience partnering with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content, manage reviews, align on learning solutions, and use AI tools to support content development or program workflows.

  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • • Ability to work onsite at Staples headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing or facilitating learning for Print Solutions, complex B2B service offerings, or sales organizations.

• Experience administering or publishing content to an LMS or LXP and using learning analytics to improve content.

• Experience building a media-forward learning program from the ground up or modernizing an existing program with video and interactive content.

• Familiarity with print products, print production systems, technology, or digital workflows.

We Offer:

  • Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups

  • Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays)

  • Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!
