InterSystems IntelliCare is seeking a Product Specialist to support the evolution and global deployment of Personal Community (patient engagement platform) and the IntelliCare Mobile App (clinician-facing mobile solution).
This role combines healthcare workflow expertise with product configuration and customer-facing engagement. You will work closely with Product Management, internal teams, and customers to shape, validate, and deliver AI-enabled, configurable healthcare experiences that improve patient engagement and clinician mobility.
InterSystems IntelliCare is the unified Electronic Health Record (EHR) and premier health interoperability and innovation platform. It delivers intelligent, connected solutions across clinical, operational, and patient engagement domains — enabling health systems worldwide to modernize care delivery and digital experiences.
Personal Community and IntelliCare Mobile extend this platform to patients and clinicians through AI-guided summaries, mobile workflows, configurable interfaces, and globally adaptable deployment models.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to product strategy, feature design, and roadmap planning across patient engagement and clinician mobile domains.
- Act as the voice of the customer, translating real-world clinical and patient workflows into scalable, configurable product capabilities.
- Support the evolution of AI-driven features, including summary cards, smart search, and guided workflows.
- Partner with customers to understand regional, operational, and configuration needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in patient engagement workflows and mobile clinician use cases.
- Collaborate with development and design teams to validate feature feasibility and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Participate in testing activities including workflow validation, UAT support, and usability feedback.
- Represent IntelliCare in customer meetings, advisory boards, and industry forums.
Qualifications
Required
4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Healthcare operations (clinical, patient engagement, digital health), or
- Healthcare IT implementation, product development, or support
- Strong understanding of clinical and/or patient-facing workflows.
- Ability to translate workflow requirements into structured product specifications.
- Experience working cross-functionally in agile or product-driven teams.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort operating independently while collaborating across global teams.
Preferred
- Experience with patient portals, digital front doors, or mobile health applications.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled healthcare features (summarization, conversational search, personalization).
- Exposure to global healthcare systems and regional workflow differences.
- Understanding of EMR integrations, APIs, or interoperability concepts.

InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
