We are looking for a Product Specialist to join an agile development team building IntelliCare AI Platform Services used across products and workflows. This role supports the Product Owner and the agile development team by clarifying requirements, validating delivered functionality, managing Jira workflows, and producing high-quality documentation and enablement materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine platform requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear scope boundaries.
- Clarify workflows, edge cases, and dependencies with the team to keep work sprint-ready.
- Translate EHR and clinical workflow realities into scalable platform capabilities.
- Support team validation by contributing workflow-based validation scenarios and coordinating UAT / stakeholder validation when needed.
- Log and manage issues in Jira with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual behavior, and supporting evidence (screenshots/logs/context).
- Track defect progress, coordinate clarifications, and verify fixes with the team.
- Create and maintain product documentation: feature notes, configuration guidance, known limitations, and release-ready summaries.
- Support internal enablement with concise guides and materials that help teams adopt
- Validate AI platform behaviors using structured scenarios (e.g., workflow mismatch, missing context, unsafe/incorrect suggestions).
- Translate observed gaps into actionable backlog items and requirements.
Qualifications
Required
4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Technical background (education or equivalent experience) and ability to collaborate with an agile development team on platform behavior, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Healthcare IT / digital health / product delivery initiatives.
- Working in agile teams (scrum/kanban) with backlog refinement and sprint execution support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing clear documentation.
- Comfort using Jira (and Confluence or equivalent).
Preferred
- EHR experience and strong understanding of clinical workflows.
- Familiarity with interoperability concepts (HL7/FHIR), APIs, or platform services.
- Experience supporting validation/UAT and defect triage in partnership with a QA/QD function.
- Exposure to AI-enabled healthcare workflows (assistant features, summarization, conversational search, documentation support).

InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
