At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance and extend healthspan. WHOOP empowers its members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.

WHOOP is seeking a Product Manager II to join the Healthcare Product team. This role is focused on executing high-impact health experiences that help members interpret their data and take meaningful action toward improved health outcomes.

As a PM II, you will be deeply embedded in day-to-day product execution — partnering closely with Engineering, UX Design, Data Science, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to ship high-quality, behavior-changing features. You will take complex health problems and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements and development plans.

This role is ideal for a product manager with 3–4 years of experience who has shipped consumer products before, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to grow into broader strategic ownership over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead execution of healthcare-related features through launch and iteration
  • Translate high-level product direction into clear requirements, user stories, and engineering-ready specifications
  • Proactively identify risks, clarify ambiguity, and remove blockers to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Drive clear timelines and documentation, manage dependencies, and ensure high-quality delivery without losing focus on product outcomes
  • Break down complex, ambiguous health challenges into clear problem statements and phased development plans
  • Balance member value, business impact, and technical feasibility when making tradeoffs
  • Ensure features are intuitive, simple, and behaviorally effective — especially when working with complex physiological data
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for features and experiments
  • Partner with Product Analytics to analyze performance data and member feedback
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform new feature development, iteration, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Engineering, UX Design, Data Science, Clinical, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive health experiences
  • Translate diverse stakeholder input into clear, aligned product decisions
  • Maintain crisp documentation and strong communication across teams
  • Advocate for high-quality member experiences that are clear, trustworthy, and actionable
  • Apply strong product principles to ensure features solve real problems in simple, elegant ways
  • Sweat the details to ensure clarity, usability, and polish

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–4 years of experience as a Product Manager with a demonstrated track record of shipping consumer-facing products
  • Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end in agile development environments
  • Strong product judgment and ability to articulate clear reasoning behind prioritization decisions
  • Experience defining KPIs and measuring product impact
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven, member-centric mindset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and tradeoffs
  • Experience in digital health or regulated environments is a strong plus, but not required
  • Passion for health, performance, and alignment with WHOOP’s mission and values

At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
