  • Maintain current, practical expertise on global regulations, standards, certifications, and emerging compliance trends.
  • Define, oversee and participate in structured risk assessment and mitigation practices, including DFMEA and related methodologies.
  • Ensure product safety and compliance considerations are embedded throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, manufacturing, quality, legal, and go-to-market teams to integrate compliance early in design and decision-making.
  • Provide clear guidance on regulatory tradeoffs that balance innovation, cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Lead compliance reviews and ensure readiness for OK2Ship; deliver concise, actionable updates to senior leadership.
  • Translate complex regulatory and technical information into clear, business-relevant insights.
  • Improve and scale compliance processes, tools, and documentation to support a growing and increasingly complex product portfolio.
  • Drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across global compliance operations.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing compliance organization.
  • Develop organizational capability in product safety, certification, and regulatory execution to support long-term needs.
  • Represent the product compliance function in product development milestones and strategic planning discussions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on regulatory risk, product safety, and global market readiness.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Strong working knowledge of international compliance standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., UL, CE, FCC, IEC).Proven success managing certification programs across multiple products and geographies.
  • Experience operating in environments with evolving processes and increasing scale.
  • Familiarity with structured risk assessment and product safety methodologies.
