Having recently secured a $25M Series A investment, we’re poised for rapid growth and innovation. If you're passionate about tackling complex challenges in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while contributing to an often-overlooked yet vital sector of the economy, we’d love to have you on board.

Let’s shape the future together—one connection at a time!

Your Mission

Do you have a track record of performing market research and analyzing market data, identifying consumer behaviors and trends? Are you good at making recommendations and providing launch strategies to increase firm profitability? Do you have the ability to monitor product performance and recommend changes to meet sales forecasts? If so, you may be just who we are looking for!

Above all, your job is to work with our current product team to drive product innovation at Prokeep. Our ability to innovate and rapidly iterate on our product is a core competitive advantage. You will work closely with our founders and our existing product team to define the future of our customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skill set who wants to grow with a startup company and work alongside an established team and experienced entrepreneurs.

The Product Analyst is a tactical leader tasked with evaluating our products, comparing them against competitor offerings and matching them with market trends and demand. A key element of this role is the effective utilization of database analysis programs to provide timely results and recommendations. Success in this role is demonstrated by meeting or exceeding sales figure expectations from product launch. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and work within a company that has found product-market fit and is expanding rapidly. Sounds fun? Read on!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market data, trends, and behaviors

  • Perform market research and collect customer feedback

  • Evaluate products and forecast performance

  • Generate reports and presentations on result findings

  • Employ database software to analyze usage and monitor product performance

  • Work with various departments including our co-founders, product team, engineering, design, and operations to drive push product innovation

  • Create product specifications and monitor the build process

  • Provide recommendations on product launch strategies

  • Contribute to Go to Market Plans and train the Customer Team on new features

Qualifications

  • 3+ years analyst experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, demanding professional start-up environment (predictability and “clock-in, clock-out” sound boring to you!)

  • Creative spirit (if there were a Creativity Bee’, you’d be a contender for 1st place)

  • Insanely self-motivated; responds positively to moderate guidance yet prefers independent critical thinking and problem solving (a micromanager is your worst nightmare…and you’re typically two steps ahead of your manager anyways!)

  • Out-of-this-world project management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects under tight project deadlines (doing one thing at a time makes you yawn)

  • Confident, critical thinking and creative problem-solving prowess

  • Ability to formulate and offer a potential solution before asking someone else for the answer

  • Adaptability – you easily deal with sudden change (to you, “Plan B” means “bring it on.”)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; command of copywriting and grammatical principles.

  • Maniacal attention to detail (you’ll tell us if you see any typos in this job description!)

  • Stellar interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate with a wide array of people - including strong personalities

  • Proficiency in all major tech tools and ability to quickly grasp and use new technology concepts (Slack will be your new BFF)

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
