Job Description

The Turner & Townsend Energy & Natural Resources Family is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Strong knowledge of the full procurement process from developing tender documents through to evaluation, negotiation and contract documentation and tracking 
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
  • RFP issue and clarifications
  • Attention to structure and detail 
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation skills, and reporting knowledge
  • Plant EPC technical interface, plant EPC commercial matter
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of procurement or commercial experience in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS, including EPC or BOP contracting
  • Demonstrated experience running competitive RFPs, bid leveling, and contract negotiation for construction scopes
  • Working knowledge of HV interconnection, civil, and site preparation scopes, and of plant EPC interface management

Strongly preferred:

  • Experience with ECI, PCSA, and unit rate and quantity true-up structures
  • Knowledge of local and regional civil and clearing contractors in active markets

Additional Information

*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*  

The salary range for this full-time role is $125K-$150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
