At Moxie, we empower entrepreneurs to launch, run, and grow their own aesthetics businesses with a combination of software and services. In just over three years, we have grown from an idea to a global, remote-first team of more than 140 people. Our business is in the top decile for growth, and our team is consistently described as high-trust, low-ego, and high-output.

We’re open to hiring this role at multiple levels (Principal or Director) based on experience, skills, and overall fit. If you're excited by this role but unsure whether your experience aligns perfectly, please apply! We're looking for the right candidate above all, so don’t let concerns about title or compensation hold you back. We’d love to hear from you and explore how your background could fit with our team.

Principal, Growth Marketing

We’re looking for a Principal, Growth Marketing to own our full-funnel demand generation strategy and build the systems that fuel predictable, high-quality pipeline. You’ll lead the charge on launching creative, multi-channel campaigns that convert, scale, and bring our GTM motion upmarket reporting directly to our Head of Marketing.

You’ll also be stepping into a highly visible role with autonomy—partnering closely with Sales, PMM, and RevOps to align goals and deliver revenue results.

We’ve laid strong early foundations for growth. Now, we’re looking for an experienced and strategic marketer to take ownership of the engine and scale it with urgency and care.

Our objectives for the role
  • Own and scale our full-funnel demand gen strategy across outbound, paid, SEO, and lifecycle.

  • Design and launch creative, data-driven campaigns that generate pipeline from upmarket, multi-provider practices.

  • Build and optimize marketing systems and infrastructure—from tools and workflows to attribution and dashboards.

  • Strengthen performance tracking and insights, and drive experimentation to unlock new growth loops.

  • Partner across functions to coordinate GTM plays, improve handoffs, and mentor others across the org.

We’re looking for:
  • Deep experience in growth marketing at B2B startups (Series A–C preferred) with 5–10+ years owning demand gen/growth marketing functions.

  • Proven ability to launch full-funnel campaigns that convert—especially ABM-style outbound, SEO, and paid programs.

  • Strong technical and operational chops across marketing tools, analytics, and performance optimization.

  • A data-obsessed, performance-driven mindset with strong instincts for experimentation and iteration.

  • A collaborative leader who works well with Sales, PMM, and RevOps, and thrives in cross-functional environments.

  • Experience mentoring others and shaping the growth function at an early-stage company.

Why join us?
  • Above all, we’re in this to empower small business owners to own and grow their businesses. If you succeed, MedSpas will remain the opportunity for independent owner-operators instead of being dominated by a small number of large chains. If that speaks to you, speak to us.

  • This is a dream role for a creative, analytical growth marketer who wants full ownership of the engine—and the ability to build it right. If you’re someone who thrives at early-stage companies, loves launching new plays, and wants a tight seat at the leadership table, this role offers high impact, high visibility, and room to scale.

  • You’ll have autonomy, smart collaborators, and the mandate to make bold moves—whether that’s launching new channels, refining attribution, or leading high-performing campaigns across the funnel.

  • We have much left to build. But given the market feedback we’re getting and our founding team’s company-building experience, we think we are writing the first chapters of a real success story.

Moxie is a fully distributed team with employees across the U.S. and globally; however, for this role, we are only hiring candidates based in the United States.

At Moxie, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and included. We encourage people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply to our jobs. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in the interview process, please let us know—we’re happy to assist.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
