We are currently seeking Pricing Analyst to join PTC's Worldwide Pricing and Licensing Group. This role will play a key part in supporting PTC's deal scoring and commercial analytics programs by evaluating strategic opportunities, partnering with sales teams, delivering actionable insights, and driving executive pricing reviews


The analyst will serve as a trusted partner to Commercial Desk, Sales, Pricing, Revenue Operations and Product teams. Responsibilities include supporting deal assessments, partnering with sales representatives on pricing-related questions, developing scalable reporting and dashboards, performing ad hoc analysis, and helping drive data-driven commercial decision making

Main Duties

  • Deal Scoring & Commercial Support
    • Lead daily deal scoring and deal assessment activities
    • Support inquiries related to deal scoring methodology, pricing guidance, and commercial performance
    • Conduct deal reviews and help identify pricing risks, opportunities, and recommendations
  • Analytics & Pricing Reviews
    • Develop insights, narratives, and executive-ready materials that translate data into actionable recommendations
    • Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics to monitor pricing effectiveness, discounting trends, revenue performance, business outcomes, and key commercial initiatives
    • Perform ad hoc analyses to identify trends, risks, and areas of opportunity
  • Automation & AI
    • Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve speed-to-insight and reduce manual effort
    • Develop and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making
    • Continuously identify opportunities to simplify & streamline processes and enhance analytical capabilities

Qualifications & Skillset

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in analytics, pricing, finance, business intelligence, operations or a related field
  • Basic understanding of financial and business analysis concepts, with the ability to learn and apply analytical frameworks to support decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and business insights
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar visualization tools, CPQ and SFDC experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective communication and business storytelling skills, with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing business priorities
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve business outcomes

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $68,000 - 102,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.  Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs. Employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and, if you are an office-assigned employee, a generous commuter subsidy.
