* The Configurations Presales Support Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting the Configuration and Integration Services Presales team in achieving its objectives. This team is responsible for supporting the execution of configuration services strategies, ensuring alignment with internal processes and polices, and collaborating with Configuration Services leadership, partners or vendors, solutions architects, sales, and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes for both client engagements and internal presales processes. The Configuration Presales Support Specialist will provide essential administrative and operational support to the members of the Configuration Services Presales team. As a Configurations Presales Support Specialist, you will provide expertise in the following domain areas of the configurations portfolio:
* Staging Services: Experience and understanding internal CDW supply chain management solutions and processes such as Buy and Hold and Customer Owned Inventory. Must have understanding around drafting of SOWs, contracts, best practices, and policies/regulations. This includes but is not limited to inventory management ISO certifications, palletization, invoicing, WMS, inventory management practices, etc.
* Spec Ops: Familiarity and ability to architect creative solutions to manage customer inventory with packaging solutions including but not limited to kitting, palletization, custom labeling, and custom material services.
* IT Asset Disposition: Understanding customer's asset disposition requirements to deliver the proper ITAD solution; and be familiar with each of the partner's offerings to properly align customer with the most appropriate partner. Ability to draft SOWs in line with company's policies/regulations and best practices for each customer and partner. What you will do Administrative Assistance:
* Work closely with Configurations Presales leadership to define KPI's and expected outcomes from partner-facing activity and the success of that activity against expectations.
* Create and manage artifacts that report on benchmarks and KPI's relative to shared configuration partner objectives.
* Build and maintain dashboards or databases that track accountability of stakeholders in delivering against key objectives defined by ITS and Configuration Presales leadership.
* Coordinate across CDW internal teams throughout ITS, Sales, and Supply Chain to align and drive awareness of activities that span these groups. Operational Support:
* Review and draft Configuration service-related documentation from templates including but not limited to Statements of Work, staging agreements, partner quotes, etc.
* Assist in developing audit procedures for Configuration Presales or service activities and produce regular reports and dashboards that detail success criteria and progress on attainment.
* Manage and resolve requests from the Configurations team as needed (i.e. tickets, cases, email requests, etc.) Sales Support
* Follow up and respond to questions regarding open and closed cases, tickets, or contracts.
* Create and communicate quotes to Sales and other stakeholders.
* Support business opportunities in collaboration with sales, partners, and customers.
* Participate in sales or client meetings to answer questions or provide information on assigned domain processes, policies, and capabilities. Process and Training
* Create and maintain internal process documents for assigned domain to drive consistency in execution and include best practices.
* Create and host training on assigned domain to sales, presales, or other team members as needed. Other functions:
* New or Improved Solutions: Explore and develop innovative Configuration Service offerings by collaborating with R&D, Presales, ITS, or other teams as needed.
* Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Configuration Services leadership, sales, supply chain and delivery teams to align capabilities with client outcomes.
* What we expect of you
* Education:
* Associate's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as Business, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, or Information Technology. Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Presales, or related IT field.
* Experience working with sales, delivery or back-office functions for reseller or consulting organizations required.
* Customer Service or Conflict Resolution experience with internal and/ external customers
* Working knowledge of Warehouse Management, Contracts, Vendor management concepts, protocols, and industry best practices preferred.
* Knowledge or history of using Salesforce is preferred.
* Knowledge or experience drafting or reviewing contracts or statements of work is preferred. Skills and Abilities:
