Role Overview

Clarium is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented People Operations Manager to elevate our employee experience and ensure flawless, empathetic execution across the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with a founder's mentality, and is equally excited about shaping high-level people strategy and ensuring operational excellence. This role balances hands-on execution with strategic coordination across Marketing, Finance, Leadership, and beyond.

What You’ll Do

· Onboarding: Own end‑to‑end new hire experience—from offer acceptance to full immersion—creating welcome kits, orientation routines, and early-stage check‑ins that set people up to thrive.

· Performance Reviews: Administer and enhance performance review cycle, including develop timelines, tools, manager training, communication plans, and feedback loops to drive continuous growth.

· Payroll & Benefits: Partner with Finance and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate payroll; administer benefits programs (401(k), health, insurance), serve as first‑touch for related questions and complexities.

· Equity Option Grants: Facilitate equity grant processes, including coordinating equity paperwork, alignment with leadership and legal, and educate employees on vesting and tax implications.

· Insurance Programs: Oversee employee insurance benefits (health, dental, vision, disability), including being the point of contact to liaise with brokers, manage enrollments, and support employees through claims or plan changes.

· Employee Engagement & Pulse Surveys: Design, deploy, and analyze regular engagement surveys, pulse checks, and recognition initiatives. Own feedback loop, and share insights with leadership as well as drive action plans.

· On‑Site Planning (Biannual): Plan and execute two all‑hands or team on‑site events each year. This will include managing logistics, agendas, team building, budgets, and follow‑up to maximize connection and impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Serve as a key operational partner to Recruiting, Finance, Legal, and People Leaders to drive smooth execution of HR programs.

· Maintain HR policies, documentation, handbooks, and SOPs to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency.

· Promote process improvements: lean on HRIS tools and standard practices to automate manual tasks and scale operational excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

· 3–7 years of HR / People Operations experience with growing scope in onboarding, benefits, performance management, and HR compliance.

· Strong operational focus, high attention to detail, and empathy in employee interactions.

· Proficient in HR systems (e.g., HRIS, performance system, survey platforms).

· Excellent cross‑team collaboration and ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Strong written and verbal communication—capable of crafting clear, warm, and helpful messages.

· Nice to have: familiarity with equity administration, benefits sourcing, and event planning logistics.

Who You Are

· A systems‑oriented mindset, with a track record of improving HR workflows.

· Enthusiasm for supporting employees through their journey—from Day 1 to career milestones.

· A people‑first mentality: you genuinely care, you listen, and you act on feedback.

· A proactive communicator: anticipates needs and resolves issues before they escalate.

Reasons to Join Us

· Innovative Environment: Be part of a company that's revolutionizing healthcare operations.

· Growth Opportunities: Play a key role in Clarium's expansion and have a direct impact on our success.

· Supportive Culture: Join a team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and mutual success.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
