Supports the legal function through contract workflow coordination, agreement reviews, contract management, legal operations, corporate records, compliance activities, and process improvement. Partners with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and People teams to streamline legal workflows and maintain agreements through execution, approvals, and renewals. Provides organized, detail-oriented support to the Head of Legal while handling confidential commercial information.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves bringing structure to complexity, enjoys working across teams and takes pride in making things happen.
You'll play an important role in keeping our legal function running smoothly, supporting everything from commercial contract edits and approvals, contract management and legal operations, as well as day-to-day coordination and process improvement. You'll work closely with our Head of Legal and colleagues across the business, helping remove friction, keep things moving and ensure our legal processes evolve as we scale.
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, takes ownership, has an eye for detail and enjoys finding smarter ways of working. If you're someone who spots what needs doing and gets on with it, you'll feel right at home.
What you'll be doing:
- Contract & Document Management: Own the day-to-day coordination of contract workflows using DealHub, DocuSign and our CLM system, keeping agreements moving from creation through to execution. Maintain visibility of key dates, approvals and renewals, ensuring our contract processes scale alongside the business.
- Legal Operations: Provide proactive support to the Head of Legal, conducting initial reviews of incoming agreements, managing priorities, coordinating incoming requests and keeping legal matters organised and on track. Look for opportunities to simplify processes and take administrative friction out of the day-to-day.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Sales, Finance, Procurement and People to make legal processes, and legal’s involvement in go-to-market processes, as seamless as possible, helping colleagues navigate workflows and keeping business-critical activities moving.
- Process & Compliance: Support the evolution of our legal operations, from improving workflows and templates to maintaining corporate records and supporting compliance activities. Bring a continuous improvement mindset and look for smarter ways of working.
What you'll bring:
- Prior experience as a paralegal or in a similar role with increasing responsibility and legal expertise.
- Experience with high-level agreement review, especially with NDAs and supplier agreements.
- Exceptional organisational skills and a strong eye for detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to take ownership without needing to be asked twice.
- Experience with contract management systems (CLM) and e-signature platforms, ideally DealHub and DocuSign.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different teams.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine interest in making processes better.
- Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and a willingness to get to grips.
