Workforce Planning Manager
The Opportunity
We are looking for a growth minded, analytical and innovative leader to join our Finance team to help us to improve and scale our organizational workforce planning. As Manager of Workforce Planning, you will act as a trusted and strategic advisor working cross-functionally across People Strategy, Recruiting, Finance, Operations as well as senior leadership. In this role you will collaborate on formulating a new approach to how we plan and manage headcount planning in order to grow our workforce to best support our customers.
What you’ll work on
Work with leadership across the organization to develop and operationalize workforce planning at scale
Partner with Recruiting, Operations, and Finance to develop and manage workforce forecasts aligning with business growth
Identify inefficiencies within our investment-to-hire processes, making recommendations and implementing changes
Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to understand mid/long range workforce planning strategy, provide analytical support, assist in operationalizing strategy and monitor on-going effectiveness
Perform deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of forecast/capacity issues, answering key questions and make comprehensive recommendations on how to address
Develop a cadence for ongoing headcount planning meetings with key stakeholders to review forecasts - short and long-term, update assumptions, and recommend changes to hiring programs, processes, goals, etc.
Partner with recruiting to ensure adequate staffing requisition availability and recruiting capacity while ensuring alignment with our HRIS (Workday) and Finance planning software (Adaptive Planning)
Develop recruiting hiring goals and operational metrics- leading and lagging indicators - in partnership with recruiting leadership team
Using Tableau and Workday to create standardized views thereby enabling multi-stakeholders to have a single-pane view on staffing & attrition
Job Requirements
4+ years’ experience in an operational, strategic or analytical role with experience supporting senior leadership
Experience within Talent Consulting, Management Consulting or Corporate Strategy strongly preferred
Impact-oriented with a demonstrated record of project management, driving cross-functional initiatives working with all levels of the organization
Understanding of key people metrics with ability to effectively explain insights to business leaders
Ability to synthesize multiple points of view succinctly
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to build analytical models.
Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to drive impact through influence and collaboration across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including establishing credibility, trust and building influential relationships with partners in the business.
