Senior Practice Operations Manager (New Hampshire)
Description
The Senior Practice Operations Manager is responsible for effective product delivery. They provide timely and accurate decision support for prioritization and resourcing questions. They are custodians and evangelists of the “secret sauce” of how Rapid7 builds products.
What do they own? (Accountable)
Drive impact by identifying opportunities and implementing the means to evolve our current processes that increase program/product effectiveness
Develop a deep understanding of what drives the business
Create targeted programs that drive operational efficiency, increase cross-functional alignment, and/or advance progress toward goals
Align with stakeholders to prioritize key focus areas
Communicate and coordinate change management efforts
Deliver and measure program effectiveness against defined success criteria
Inspect and adapt based on feedback
Build, implement, and maintain tools/reports that provide visibility and decision support for project/program prioritization, delivery, and performance to key stakeholders
Aggregate, organize, synthesize program and project information to communicate key insights to executives and the cross-functional team

Simplify and streamline the product delivery process
Operate and improve efficiency of sustaining operations
Create delivery cadence through facilitation and tooling for weekly prioritization/alignment meetings and other feedback loops
Drive accountability through consistent review of progress toward goals and executing against intentions/plans
Provide visibility and connect the organization
Maintain, expand and evangelize central project reporting system
Establish working groups and feedback loops between Products and non-Product groups
Create operational reports and review with teams to determine key focus areas
Coach and mentor teams on Agile-based program frameworks
Partner with cross-functional teams to increase visibility, alignment, accountability, and coordination of initiatives
Develop and drive organizational programs that strengthen the community of Product, Project, and Program Managers across diverse teams - including forums for mentorship, peer support, and sharing of best practices
Collect, organize and structure tribal knowledge - includes creating knowledge base articles, tools, and trainings for information sharing
Experience
2+ years managing large scale, complex projects
Certified Scrum Master or equivalent experience
JIRA, Confluence - Admin experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and influence without having direct authority over resources
Demonstrated ability to work within all levels of an organization, including working with senior management

Additional Details
We don’t require cybersecurity experience. It’s a nice to have, but ultimately we’re looking for someone with great project management experience that can identify patterns and needs across our teams, and organize these complexities into sustainable and scalable processes that delivers on our goals. We know there will be a ramp-up period, and will support your journey into this exciting field!
We need someone that can travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally (of course, once it’s safe to do so). Rapid7 has 7 offices with team members present across North America and Europe. You’ll work directly with team members in Boston, MA; Arlington, VA; and Dublin, Ireland.
