Who you are

You are a self motivated, data-driven problem solver who prides yourself on your ability to identify and build effective partner relationships. You are dedicated to building and maintaining effective partnerships, and know that doesn’t come from promising the world, but instead by being honest, understanding, and exhibiting good judgement. 

You have a proven track record of success and 7+ years of experience managing and developing partnerships in a B2B environment, preferably in e-commerce or bevalc. 

What the role is

In this Retail Operations Business Development Lead role, you will be an integral part of the Retail Operations team. You will support the VP of Account Management in strategically developing the markets within which Drizly operates, acting as the primary driver of Drizly’s retailer operations. Providing direct oversight of partnerships, you will proactively identify and evaluate ways to evolve our processes in the third party delivery landscape, ensuring partnerships are progressing and we are continuously exploring opportunities to grow. 

This is a critical role in scaling Drizly’s retail operations for long term growth and driving performance against our core business objectives. 

Please note: this role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States with the exception of Colorado.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the primary owner of Drizly’s 3rd party delivery partnerships, overseeing growth and efficiency goals
  • Think strategically to identify opportunities on the retailer side of the Drizly marketplace
  • Coordinate cross functionally with the Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and run key tests investigating opportunities for the retailer side of Drizly
  • Analyze the results of tests and model possible outcomes for proposed initiatives to direct sound prioritization decisions
  • Implement improvement strategies in coordination with Retail Operations leaders and their teams, as well as Marketing, and Product
  • Manage the Last Mile experience to ensure delivery quality meets Drizly’s standards for the customer
