Job Description: 

The Operations Specialist ensures data quality and provides proactive solutions for PriceSpider products and services. This role involves understanding customer needs, diagnosing, and resolving issues efficiently, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements. The Operations Specialist is key in maintaining data accuracy and availability across all product lines. 

Essential Function & Responsibilities: 

  • Follow direction from lead on priority tasks.
  • Resolve escalated support and implementation issues per internal SLA.
  • Ensure performance goals are met with high accuracy.
  • Document work clearly in all tools and tickets.
  • Adhere to established processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis for assigned issues.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on work status.
  • Accurately record statistics and time logs for reporting.
  • Ensure resolved issues meet customer expectations.
  • Stay informed on new PriceSpider products, procedures, and trends.
  • Request peer reviews to ensure work quality.
  • Identify and escalate tooling issues to leadership.
  • Suggest automation for processes and tasks.
  • Perform setup and maintenance tasks, including writing parse definitions (JSON/regex) and scripts.
  • Utilize matching tools (AutoMatch, Alexandria Omni Crawler, Seller Product Feed Match) proficiently.
  • Minimize recurrence of ongoing issues and ticket reopenings.
  • Retrieve product data from websites when necessary.
  • Audit customer products daily for comprehensive and accurate matching.
  • Report system anomalies proactively to leadership.
  • Assist team members as needed.
  • Participate actively in standups, team calls, training sessions, and all-hands meetings.
  • Handle escalations as needed.
  • Be available for after-hours support when necessary. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Proven team collaboration experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply technical skills.
  • Demonstrated technical ability in use at PriceSpider. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven capabilities in a technical role.
  • Experience in documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
  • Understanding of JSON and regex.
  • SQL skills.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence. 

 

Location: 

We are hiring for this position in the United States. This is a remote position.


Compensation:

The salary for this role is $18-$20/hour. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
