Operational Excellence Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute continuous improvement (CI) and Lean initiatives across production and business processes 
• Drive waste reduction, efficiency gains, and process optimization using Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, visual management) 
• Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve performance and productivity 
• Manage and deliver cross-functional projects across manufacturing and administrative functions 
• Support and enhance tier escalation processes to resolve operational issues  
• Analyze performance metrics to guide decision-making and sustain improvements 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sites to drive alignment and execution of initiatives
• Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence 

Business & Team Context

This role supports a growing microelectronics business undergoing a Lean transformation aligned with enterprise operational excellence standards. 

• Multi-site environment across Woburn and Whippany
• Team includes operational excellence resources supporting multiple sites
• Opportunity to influence both production and business process improvements 

Basic Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Lean environments 
• Demonstrated experience leading CI or Lean projects with measurable impact (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains)     
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred)
• Experience working in manufacturing, operations, or similar environments 
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
• Proven ability to adapt and succeed in dynamic, transformation-focused environments

• Successful execution of multiple CI initiatives across sites
• Strong collaboration and engagement with operations teams

The annual base salary range for this position is $129,950.00 - $162150.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
