We’re looking for local residents to take part in our Colby Jack Research Study — a short home-based project that helps improve real-world technology and smart home services.
🔍 What’s Involved
You’ll set up two small video-only devices in your home for about 7–10 days — one near your main entrance and one in your living or dining area.
• Recordings are video only (no audio).
• You can pause or stop recordings anytime.
• Review your footage on a provided laptop, where you can delete any clips you do not wish to share.
• Share at least 120 hours of recordings from each device.
👥 Who Can Join
To qualify, you must:
• Live in the Boston Area
• Be able to follow setup instructions and review clips on a computer
• Communicate comfortably in English
• Provide consent (and obtain consent from any other adults in your household)
💰 Compensation
Earn $400 USD for completing the study and sharing the required recordings.
