Job Description

Job Description

•    Design and implement secure network solutions that meet business requirements
•    Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems
•    Implement and manage network security monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
•    Analyze routine network security maintenance tasks, including updates, patches and configuration changes
•    Monitor, manage and maintain the network security, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
•    Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and risk management activities
•    Collaborate with various stakeholders and cross functional teams to design and implement network security solutions
•    Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational  security policies
•    Lead or participate in network related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
•    Keep abreast with latest network security technologies, industry best practices

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
•    Relevant network security certifications (e.g. CCIE Security, CCNP security etc.) are highly desirable

Qualifications

•    8+ years of cumulative experience in network security technologies and 5+ years as a network security engineer
•    Proven experience with network security design, implementation, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
•    Strong understanding of network security principles and technologies
•    Proven experience with SD-WAN platforms and technologies
•    In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP,  BGP, OSPF, EIGRP etc.
•    In-depth knowledge of public key infrastructure, TLS, DTLS
•    Strong understanding of how Deep packet inspection , Intrusion Prevention/Detection, Advanced Malware detection technologies work
•    Solid understanding of current generation of firewalls and next generation firewalls and evolution
•    Experience with network automation tools, network Observability tools
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Atlanta, Georgia is: $71,700-$98,625.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
