Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Network Analyst to support the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/HNJ) at Hanscom AFB. This role focuses on leading edge, advanced technology solutions for the warfighter's needs in such areas such as electronic and cyber warfare. AFLCMC/HNJ is organized into four branches and the Hanscom Collaboration and Innovation Center (HCIC). This role requires employee pass background screening for SAP.

Responsibilities include: 

The contractor shall be responsible for maintenance, operation, installation and upgrades of VTC bridges, networks and systems to include secure encryption devices; ensure connectivity and quality of VTC connections and troubleshoots and maintains all equipment.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Work with help desk technicians for daily VTC scheduling
  • Maintain database of VTC user sites
  • Provide maintenance support to analyze, isolate, and correct operational faults on secure VTC systems and encryption devices
  • Conduct quality assurance test to identify project failures, review documentation to ensure that it meets testing standards
  • Install, test, repair, and maintain equipment for racks, fabricate cables, conduct preventative maintenance
  • Schedule VTCs
  • Preform site surveys
  • Provide reports and other information upon request of PM
  • Other duties as assigned

Technical Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of IP VTC, configuration and maintaining Windows 2012R2 servers, Domain Controller and DNS servers, and Log Rhythm servers
  • Guide and Assist COMSEC CROs
  • Configuration and Maintain GEM X Encryption Manager server, level III troubleshooting components

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SAP background screening
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems with a minimum of five years' experience
  • Knowledge of H.323 and SIP standards
  • Experience installing large scale VTC infrastructure and systems
  • Knowledge of encryption types and brands
  • Knowledge of LogRhythm software desired

The annual salary range: $160k - $185k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
