Position Summary

The Manager, Marketing Operations, serves as the operational leader of the marketing organization, ensuring marketing strategy is translated into measurable business results.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing and Web, this role leads marketing operations across campaign execution, analytics, and marketing technology. The position establishes operational priorities, measures performance, optimizes resources, and ensures the marketing organization can effectively execute on it’s strategy. 

This leader acts as the connective tissue across Marketing, Sales, Commercial Leadership, IT, and external partners, building scalable processes and operational excellence that enable marketing to grow with the business.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Translate marketing strategy into executable plans aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain scalable processes, governance, and standard work that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to increase marketing efficiency, effectiveness, and business impact.

Campaign Excellence

  • Lead operational execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Coordinate campaign execution through agency partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure campaigns launch on time, align with business priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility into campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities.

Marketing Analytics & Performance

  • Own marketing performance reporting and executive dashboards.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness, marketing contribution to pipeline, lead generation, conversion rates, and channel performance.
  • Translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks that drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Agency & Partner Leadership

  • Serve as the primary operational lead for external marketing agencies and strategic partners.
  • Establish priorities, evaluate performance, and ensure deliverables support business objectives.
  • Hold partners accountable for quality, execution, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve agency effectiveness and return on investment.

Marketing Technology

  • Provide functional oversight and prioritization for the marketing operations resources supporting HubSpot, Salesforce, Qualified, 6Sense, and marketing automation.
  • Ensure marketing technology platforms work together to support demand generation and customer engagement.

Marketing Governance & Prioritization

  • Lead the marketing intake and prioritization process.
  • Balance resources across internal teams, contractors, and agency partners.
  • Ensure marketing investments remain focused on the highest-value business opportunities.
  • Remove operational barriers and improve cross-functional collaboration.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing operations, demand generation, or integrated marketing.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with experience developing executive-level reporting.
  • Experience managing external agencies and strategic partners.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, preferably Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Experience managing digital marketing initiatives.
