Job Summary

Snyk is looking for a Lead Procurement Business Partner to serve as the strategic procurement owner across our Finance, Legal, Corporate Information Systems, and People & Workplace verticals. This is an individual contributor role based in Boston on a hybrid schedule of three days per week in office, reporting to the VP of Procurement. You will own the full Source to Pay lifecycle for G&A spend, from purchase management and systems hygiene through month end close, building frameworks that let the business move fast without sacrificing financial discipline.

About the Team

Snyk's Procurement team is led by the VP of Procurement and partners closely with Finance, Legal, Corporate Information Systems, and People & Workplace leadership. The team owns strategic sourcing, systems adoption, and financial controls across the G&A functions that underpin Snyk's operational and organizational growth.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the primary escalation point for G&A leadership, including the CFO, CPO, CIO, and CEO, on procurement operations and spend health, acting as the face of Procurement across Finance, Legal, Corporate Information Systems, and People teams.

● Embed within Finance, Legal, Corporate Information Systems, and People leadership, participating in planning cycles and supplier strategy discussions as a trusted strategic partner.

● Own the full Source to Pay lifecycle for all G&A commodities, including SaaS, professional services, real estate and facilities, and resource augmentation, covering both net new purchases and renewals.

● Partner with the CIO to rationalize Snyk's SaaS stack, consolidating overlapping tools and favoring Snyk's own AI capabilities over new purchases where it makes sense.

● Own SaaS and subscription spend currently sitting on credit card, and build a plan to shift it to invoiced billing or reseller arrangements.

● Act as the subject matter expert for Coupa, partnering with Accounting and Business Applications to identify and implement process improvements.

● Champion Procure to Pay adoption and optimization across G&A, driving compliance, a better user experience, and workflow automation.

● Partner with Legal, GRC, and Enterprise Security to strengthen contract lifecycle management, third party risk management, and risk appropriate controls.

● Own month end close activities, including accrual submissions, purchase order management, and spend reconciliation, in partnership with Accounting and FP&A.

● Drive accrual accuracy through scalable open PO reviews and prepaid expense management, and ensure timely PO creation, receipt matching, and proactive communication of large commitments to Finance.

● Set and communicate budget requirements with FP&A, keep spend within guardrails, and contribute to annual planning.

● Partner with Finance Systems, Business Analytics, Strategy, and Accounting to improve data quality, GL coding accuracy, and spend visibility, keeping every request and PO audit ready.

What you’ll bring

7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including 5+ years in enterprise tech, SaaS, cybersecurity, or hyperscaler environments.

● Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation across G&A categories, including professional services, real estate and facilities, corporate information systems, and HR and workforce services.

● Working knowledge of procurement adjacent accounting, including accruals, prepaid expenses, PO management, and month end close.

● Hands on experience with modern procurement platforms and ERPs.

● Strong grasp of controls, segregation of duties, and compliance across Procurement, Legal, Security, and Finance.

● An AI first mindset and genuine curiosity about applying AI to procurement operations.

● Proven ability to build structure in high velocity, ambiguous environments without slowing the business down.

● A passion for turning manual processes into structured, automated, audit ready systems.

● Customer centric approach, with a track record of building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, and the communication skills to influence effectively.

● A bias for action, strong time management, and a natural sense of urgency, paired with tenacity and resilience to drive results in ambiguous settings.

● Bonus: hands on experience with Coupa (P2P), Tropic (I2P), or similar enterprise procurement suites.

● Bonus: experience in hyper growth, scaling environments.

● Bonus: experience with real estate or workplace procurement at scale.

● Bonus: proficiency with BI tools for spend analysis and reporting.
