We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Solutions team to advance the organization’s management strategies by meeting the needs of the various business units for project and process implementation of applications, including their design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
This role takes full responsibility for business analysis where the advice given, and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the profitability or effectiveness of the organization. The IT Business Analyst, Enterprise Solutions will help to maximize the performance of the organization through the implementation of leading-edge tools and processes. This will include analyzing user requirements, processes, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review capabilities, workflow, and process limitations.

Responsibilities

• Plans and drives scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for enhancements and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, in the conduct of investigations for business requirements specifications, feasibility studies, and business cases preparation. Challenges initiatives with business value in mind.
• Lead and/or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders
• Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide framework to support end user acceptance testing
• Coordinate, support and help business users resolve escalated support issues including application software and operational systems when necessary
• Engages proactively and collaboratively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance. Implements supplier management-related service improvement initiatives and programs.
• Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize use of QuadReal’s Enterprise Applications
• Creates and fosters a “customer centric” culture in all team interactions.
• Assist with creating training materials and conducting training sessions

• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in a complex real estate services environment
• Understanding of the real estate business and key business processes
• Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications
• Experience with Yardi’s Voyager, Elevate, RentCafe, AB&F, and other applications would be an asset
• Demonstrated ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices
• Experience with change management is an asset
• Experience with process re-engineering is an asset
• Proficient in SQL for querying, data validation, and troubleshooting in complex relational databases
• Experienced in bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams by interpreting business needs and translating them into clear and actionable requirements
• Detail-oriented with superior documentation skills
• Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships
• Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities, with a focus on driving alignment and consensus
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization
• Highly adaptable to evolving business needs and technological change
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple demands
• Ability to travel occasionally
