Job Description

AECOM is seeking an IT Business Analyst – Airport Project to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. 

  • Elicits, analyzes, validates, and consolidates business requirements related to technology solutions and their integration points.

  • Applies Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) methodologies, tools, and processes in alignment with ITM Project Management standards and practices.

  • Partners with Program Leads and technical experts to validate and gain consensus on business requirements.

  • Collaborates with fellow IT Business Analysts to promote consistency in processes and approaches across initiatives.

  • Oversees requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the defined scope.

  • Effectively manages multiple concurrent initiatives, potentially at varying stages of the project lifecycle.

  • Delivers comprehensive progress reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and issues for timely escalation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:

  • No less than a University Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field  + 4 years of experience in Information Technology business analysis.

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, such as 3-year college diploma + 6 years of experience in Information Technology business analysis, may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation and active membership in the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

  • Typically, 10 years of continuous business analysis experience, including expertise in Enterprise Analysis, Requirements Management and Planning, Elicitation and Communication, Requirements Analysis and Documentation, as well as Solution Assessment and Validation.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on a major airport program or similarly complex infrastructure initiative in a relevant discipline.

  • Demonstrated strength in organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Additional Information

This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
