Position Summary:As an Influencer Marketing Manager on our Brand Marketing team, you will build from the ground up and lead SPS Commerce’s influencer, creator, and user-generated content (UGC) marketing program. Reporting to the Head of External Communications and working closely with the Social Media Manager and broader Marketing team, you’ll extend our brand’s reach and credibility by identifying, activating, and nurturing relationships with industry voices, subject matter experts, and content creators (both internal and external) who resonate with our community of retailers, brands, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics providers. This role is a great fit for an AI-savvy, natural relationship builder and creative storyteller who has a strong desire to stay ahead of emerging platforms, trends, and creator economy best practices, and can translate influencer partnerships and UGC into measurable impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and manage influencer campaigns end-to-end, including briefing creators, collaborating on content concepts, and ensuring deliverables align with brand voice, messaging guidelines, and campaign objectives
  • Build out SPS's UGC strategy as a complement to influencer-driven demand generation, sourcing and curating examples across organic founder/micro-influencer content, paid or embedded creator placements, and formats SPS can produce internally.
  • Help define SPS's point of view on emerging or higher-risk formats (e.g., embedded/paid creator placements) in partnership with Brand Marketing leadership.
  • Manage influencer agreements, deliverable tracking, and payment coordination, ensuring all partnerships and content comply with FTC disclosure guidelines and internal legal and brand standards
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget and relationships with influencer agencies, platforms, and marketplaces, ensuring efficient spend and strong return on investment
  • Track and report on influencer program performance including reach, engagement, sentiment, and brand impact, using data-driven insights to refine creator selection and campaign strategy
  • Partner closely with the Social Media Manager, External Communications team, Product Marketing, and Talent Marketing to ensure influencer activity is integrated with broader social, PR, and employer brand initiatives

Where You’ll Work:

This role is hybrid out of our headquarters in Minneapolis, MN or open to fully remote candidates. We Succeed Together through in-person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing, or partnership marketing within a B2B technology or SaaS environment; supply chain, CPG, or retail domain experience required
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, recruiting, and managing relationships with influencers, industry experts, or content creators, including negotiating agreements and managing deliverables
  • Working knowledge of FTC disclosure requirements and best practices for influencer and sponsored content compliance
  • Experience sourcing, evaluating, or producing user-generated content including organic founder/creator content and paid or embedded creator placements
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling briefs and creative direction for influencer partners
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-powered tools for influencer discovery, content development, or performance analysis
  • Proficiency in social media and influencer management and analytics tools, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor or agency relationships, including tracking spend against deliverables
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing platforms such as Figma or Canva to create visually compelling social media assets
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple influencer relationships and campaigns simultaneously
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong relationships across Marketing, Communications, and Talent Marketing

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
