Human Resources Business Partner

Electroswitch is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Weymouth manufacturing operation. This role works closely with employees and leaders on employee relations, payroll, performance management, retention, training, and HR compliance. The HR Business Partner will spend time in both the office and on the production floor, building relationships across the organization.

• Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace conflict.

• Help ensure company policies and employment practices are applied fairly and consistently.

• Oversee payroll processing, administration, and reporting for hourly and salaried employees.

• Support compensation programs, job descriptions, salary reviews, benefits, and performance appraisal processes.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development.

• Develop training and communication programs that support employee engagement and retention.

• Track attendance and leaves of absence, and help maintain compliance with applicable employment laws.

• Work with safety teams to support workplace health, safety, and accident prevention.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Seven to ten years of professional HR experience, including employee relations and HR support in a manufacturing or similar operational environment.

• Working knowledge of employment laws, leave administration, payroll, and performance management.

• Strong judgment, communication, listening, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to connect with employees and leaders in both office and production settings.

• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.

This role requires regular time in an office and manufacturing environment, including walking on the production floor. The manufacturing environment may include exposure to varying temperatures and odors.
