The role of the People Team Coordinator is to provide a variety of administrative, coordination and planning support to Indigo’s People Team. This role is a core part of building our People Team capabilities, and will require a passion for HR processes, along with the desire to have a positive impact quickly on our fast-growing workforce.

Responsibilities

Enables the Work of the Chief People Officer:

  • Owns prioritization and management of the CPO’s schedule, proactively ensuring they are set up for success in their day-to-day work, and promptly responds to and manages requests
  • Supports CPO with understanding and adapting to urgent matters and shifting priorities, with communication of and attention to business and team priorities
  • Prepares business documentation and presentations for CPO
  • Understands the People budget and expenses and helps manage PO’s, invoices, travel, and business spending

Streamlines & Enables the Work of the People Leadership Team:

  • Owns planning and meeting management for the collective PLT, proactively ensuring they are set up for effective collaboration
  • Helps prioritize leadership team agendas, provides meeting notes and follows up to enable desired results
  • Owns the coordination, scheduling, and meeting management for the People Leadership Team. Thinks ahead to ensure team meetings are effective and well-organized, collating agendas, seeking advance information and distributing materials

Supports Employee Communications & Engagement:

  • Recommends and drafts internal communications in support of people-related communications. Ensures necessary stakeholders are included and appropriate audiences are identified
  • Thoroughly ensures communications align with Indigo’s core values and mission, and references directly where appropriate
  • Assists with employee engagement initiatives as needed, including surveys, DEI initiatives, development, and employee events
  • Occasionally distributes communications on behalf of the Chief People Officer and People Team leaders

Supports Reporting of People-related KPI’s, Metrics and Measures:

  • Assists with data collection, audits and reporting, maintaining an understanding of various software and systems
  • Helps prioritize data needs and prepare for presentation at regular business meetings
  • Helps research and reconcile data conflicts across different systems

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a support professional, coordinator, or specialist, with the ambition and initiative to further develop skills and knowledge
  • Experience supporting an HR team or handling role-related HR functions such as internal communications, data management, and/or employee engagement preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and tech-fluent in varied software and tools
  • Demonstrated success supporting a high growth team and environment in a highly employee-focused business

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
