Are you just the right combination of empathy and structure?  Scandit is looking for a talented People Partner to support its growing team across the Americas region. We are a tightly aligned, highly collaborative global team and are looking for someone who is equally excited about rolling up their sleeves and getting things done!

You are a self-starter and enjoy building relationships and trust within the company. In this role you will get to work on pretty much all aspects of People Operations from advising on compensation, benefits, designing and rolling out policies, improving how we do things to create an amazing people experience.

What You Will Do

  • Be a trusted member of Scandit’s People Team supporting our managers and employees through any People challenges they may face.
  • Take a business partner approach in providing day-to-day guidance to line managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development).
  • Provide HR policy guidance to the team and design new and review existing policies as needed.
  • Lead and implement some Global People Team projects (L&D initiatives, performance management, employee engagement, etc.) and roll them out in the Americas region.
  • Take charge of the entire employee lifecycle experience from managing offer templates to guiding and supporting career development.

Who You Are

  • You have "learned the ropes" during at least 3 years of experience in a comparable role where you have managed a variety of HR tasks, including performance management, benefits, employee relations, etc.
  • You have a good understanding of laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies relevant in People Operations.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and you’re not afraid to be “hands-on” to get it done.
  • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail and can balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • You are proactive and you take ownership.
  • You remain calm under pressure and stay professional and friendly.
  • You are a confident communicator (in writing, presentations etc.) and can build relationships with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • You are comfortable with collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Gsuite) and can manage the usual office technology.
