In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
What you will be doing:
- Will support the operation of a Help Desk (24x7 manning), providing consolidated, comprehensive technical assistance for software maintenance support for a US Government customer.
- Provide technical support for COTS products and customized desktop applications, web applications, databases, user account administration issues, and technical/functional support for individual user problems.
- Supports response to system user requests for assistance.
- Supports on-the-spot diagnostic evaluation. The scope of this support includes resolving the problem/providing support over the phone, or escalating the issue to the appropriate tier for resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Isolated environment with an internet connection in which to work remotely.
- Primary work shift will be weekdays EST but may include weekends periodically.
What you will bring:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a background screening and obtain and maintain Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT and 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Requires strong analytical and organizational skills, including strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Experience supporting users of Microsoft products.
