At MacPaw, we craft software that makes everyday tech life simpler, cleaner, and more enjoyable. From globally loved products like CleanMyMac and Setapp to emerging cybersecurity tools like ClearVPN and Moonlock, we are building a software ecosystem that reaches millions of people worldwide.

Working at MacPaw means owning outcomes, not just tasks. We build for global scale from day one, giving you the trust, freedom, and room to experiment.

In our team, we challenge ideas directly, support each other genuinely, and build software that makes a meaningful difference — both in the tech world and beyond.

We are looking for a visionary Head of PR who lives and breathes storytelling. Someone who can mix creativity with data and lead a talented PR team to shape how the world sees MacPaw and our products.

We are building an ambitious, AI-first ecosystem that will expand what people can do and help them achieve more. And you will be in charge of establishing and executing our communications strategy.

If you are passionate about tech, know how to navigate the global media landscape, and are excited about the future of AI-driven communications - we should talk!

In this role, you will:

  • Shape the narrative: develop and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy for MacPaw and our products, aligning it with the company`s long-term vision and business goals.
  • Build meaningful connections: cultivate strategic relationships with TIER-1 tech media, global journalists, and industry partners to expand MacPaw’s footprint.
  • Lead with data: define a unified reporting architecture and KPIs for PR. You’ll use data-driven insights to measure success, optimize campaigns, and prove impact.
  • Own the stage: identify, organize, and leverage key industry events globally to boost MacPaw’s recognition and build strong industry ties.
  • Be the guardian of MacPaw`s reputation: oversee our public image across key global markets, crafting clear messaging and proactively managing reputational risks.
  • Innovate with AI: drive the integration of AI tools within our PR workflows, establishing high-level frameworks to make our communications faster, smarter, and more efficient.
  • Manage resources: oversee PR budget planning and allocation to ensure maximum impact and operational excellence.
  • Empower the team: mentor, coach, and grow a team of talented PR professionals. You’ll set clear goals, foster accountability, and support their career journeys.

Skills you’ll need to bring:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in corporate brand marketing or PR, with a deep understanding of the global tech ecosystem.
  • Proven leadership track record as a Head of PR or PR Lead, with experience nurturing and guiding high-performing, agile PR teams.
  • A portfolio of global impact, demonstrated by successful international PR campaigns that made noise for all the right reasons.
  • Deep mastery of media relations, with strong existing networks and an intuitive sense for compelling story pitching.
  • A data-informed, human-centric approach that translates consumer insights into clear, actionable, and innovative strategies.
  • Experience partnering with PR agencies, knowing how to pick, align, and collaborate with external partners for maximum impact.

As a plus:

  • Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI agents to supercharge your daily workflows.
  • Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how AI search is changing the future of PR.
