Quickbase is seeking a data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to own and improve our product-led growth (PLG) motion for the Quickbase and FastField products. You'll work at the intersection of Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, developing and executing campaigns, onboarding flows, and in-app experiences that move users from free trial to paid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for programs focused on improving trial-to-paid conversion, partnering and collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams. Own key PLG metrics of trial conversion rate, time to value, and activation rate.
  • Test and optimize onboarding sequences, in-product messaging, email nurture flows, and educational content to guide users to activation.
  • Partner with Product and RevOps to orchestrate necessary event tracking and build key trial usage, onboarding, and expansion potential dashboards.
  • Create and run A/B tests across trial user lifecycle campaigns and digital touchpoints.
  • Conduct user research and leverage feedback to identify friction points in the trial experience.
  • Collaborate with Content and Product Marketing to create self-serve assets that accelerate trial user success.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a strong focus on growth marketing and ideally PLG motions
  • Experience with digital marketing and web/app experience optimization tools
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with dashboards, funnels, and experimentation
  • Experience with improving trial conversion and/or acquisition & onboarding funnels
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a bias toward action, rapid testing, and iteration
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and experience

Bonus if You Have

  • Experience working on mobile SaaS or data capture platforms
  • Familiarity with in-app onboarding tools (i.e. Intercom, Pendo, etc), user journey and product analysis tools (i.e. Amplitude), or A/B testing and personalization tools (i.e. VWO, Optimizely, etc)
  • Background in customer success or support for PLG businesses

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
