About Topline Pro

We’re building AI powered Shopify for service businesses. We help service pros (e.g., roofers, landscapers, painters, cleaners) acquire direct business, fast. Up and running within minutes using Gen AI, our digital storefront products help pros get discovered, trusted, and booked repeatedly.

Topline Pro is co-founded by Nick Ornitz (CEO) and Shannon Kay (CPO) with an excellent team of 85+ rockstars with plans to expand more in 2025. We serve thousands of local service businesses and were named as one of the 2023 and 2024 top 50 Tech Companies building for SMBs.

We're YC-backed and well funded with several years of runway, and we’ve experienced rapid growth in the past year. We're in a phenomenal position to scale—with the financial foundation, product-market fit, and momentum to go big. You’ll be joining at an inflection point—where the groundwork is laid and the path to massive impact is clear.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Google Ads Specialist to join us on a short-term contract (6 months) to manage and optimize campaigns for our customers. You’ll run experiments, test new strategies, and help us streamline existing processes and develop new ones to deliver a best-in-class paid-ad management service. This role will be based out of our Boston, MA or Brooklyn, NY offices.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career marketer or co-op student who wants real responsibility, hands-on learning, and ownership over meaningful work.

What You’ll Do
  • Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns for a portfolio of Topline Pro customers.

  • Test and iterate on ad strategies to improve conversion rates and lead quality for our customers

  • Collaborate with our Customer Success and Sales teams to ensure campaigns meet client goals

  • Communicate regularly with Ads customers about campaign performance and spending, including conducting review meetings to discuss results and refine advertising strategies

  • Document processes, hypotheses, and learnings for future productization.

  • Work closely with an experienced consultant advisor for guidance and upskilling.

What We’re Looking For
  • Current college student (junior/senior) taking a gap year in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related seeking a 6-month contract role / internship / co-op, OR a recent graduate looking for their first professional experience

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working independently, asking questions, and sharing ideas

  • Eager to learn and experiment in a fast-paced environment

  • Based in Boston, MA or New York, NY and eager to work in-office four days per week.

Why This Role is Great for You
  • Hands-on ownership: You won’t just assist; you’ll run campaigns end-to-end

  • Mentorship: Access to experienced professionals across Marketing, Business, and Technology to help you succeed in this role (and your next one!)

  • Real-world impact: Your work will directly contribute to the success of our customers and shape a potential new product offering at Topline Pro

How You Work — Living Our Core Values

At Topline Pro, we’re not just hiring for skills — we’re hiring people who embody our core values in how they work, collaborate, and build. Here’s what that looks like in this role:

No Bullsh*t: You value clarity, directness, and real impact. You speak plainly, cut through complexity, and focus on what matters. You don’t posture — you solve. Your work and communication are honest, transparent, and rooted in what’s best for the team and our customers.

Think Big, Learn Fast: You’re energized by ambitious goals and unafraid to tackle messy, ambiguous problems. You take an iterative approach — testing, learning, and improving quickly. You value momentum over perfection and believe that learning happens fastest through building and doing.

One Team, One Dream: You win by working together. You collaborate with empathy, celebrate shared wins, and show up for your teammates — especially when things get hard. You believe trust, respect, and shared ownership are the foundation of great teams.

Empower Every Voice: You seek input from others and value different perspectives — especially when building systems that serve multiple teams. You communicate clearly, listen actively, and make it easy for others to contribute. You care about outcomes that serve everyone, not just your lane.

Be an Owner: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. You act in the company’s best interest — driving meaningful results, moving with urgency, and treating every dollar and decision like it’s your own. You don’t wait for permission; you see problems and take action.

BOOM!: You take pride in doing great work and lift others up when they do the same. You believe celebration fuels momentum. Whether it’s a major launch or a quiet win, you’re someone who recognizes and amplifies great work across the team.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants.
