We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Digital Communications Portfolio in USRM Servicing. The Digital Communications Portfolio supports over 160 million interactions per year across SMS, webchat, and email - aiding in the deflection of 4.6 million calls and over $35 million in savings. If you are selected, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills with cloud-based technology to build tools and solutions used to support new and innovative Communications products that scale across the organization.

About the job:
This role sits on the Mercury Messaging product team responsible for communications sent to customers. Key areas of focus include enabling 1-way SMS, push notifications, and email communications
This team operates in the US Retail Markets space, producing over 10 million emails per month, serving a multitude of consumers utilizing our mature Mercury Messaging platform and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This team works collaboratively with internal SMS and Webchat teams to accelerate our Digital Communications strategy in enabling omnichannel capabilities.
Qualifications

• Three years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency and demonstrated success with AWS, Node js, Javascript, Java, relational databases.
• Familiarity with React js, Typescript, AWS CDK, Apigee, Data Dog, and Splunk.
• Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Scrum, Kanban or XP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills-and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers.
• A collaborative, adaptable working style, demonstrated initiative and the ability to prioritize your time and efforts.
• A thorough grasp of technology concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture and technical standards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.

Highly Competitive Applicants will have some combination of experience with:

• Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
• Building robust relationships with Business partners and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering GenAI solutions.
• Hands-on involvement with layered systems architecture, designs, and shared software concepts (scalability).
