Gentle Giant Moving Company is looking to hire a receptionist at our Winchester office. The primary responsibilities of this role include learning and operating our phone system and interacting with customers, staff, vendors, and all guests either on the phone, in person, or by e-mail in a consistently professional manner. This position is also responsible for ordering and restocking office supplies and will assist in ordering parking permits for all local Boston area moves. You will be expected to provide administrative support as needed. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a real focus on taking care of details. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual.
This role will primarily be at our Winchester headquarters with occasional coverage at our Charlestown location as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED), College degree.
- Minimum of 2 years working with the public
- Front desk, office experience preferred
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Punctual with strong attendance history
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Efficiently and professionally deal with all customer calls
- Handle many tasks in a calm, professional manner
- Work on a team and share all responsibilities
- Maintain reception area and common areas in a clean & tidy manner at all times
