Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst - NA Retail, you will be responsible for owning key areas of financial reporting, including actuals and forecasting support, with a primary focus on the month-end actuals process. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A - NA Retail, this role will partner closely with internal finance and commercial leads to ensure accurate reporting, financial discipline, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst - NA Retail, you will be responsible for owning key areas of financial reporting, including actuals and forecasting support, with a primary focus on the month-end actuals process. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A - NA Retail, this role will partner closely with internal finance and commercial leads to ensure accurate reporting, financial discipline, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Support month-end actuals process, ensuring financial results are accurately reported and aligned with expectations.
- Support the forecasting and budgeting processes, tracking key financial metrics across the P&L.
- Develop financial reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights into business performance.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide insights on drivers of performance deviations.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal finance and commercial leads to provide financial insights that support business strategies.
- Assist in financial planning and scenario modeling to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting and financial processes.
Process Improvement & Systems Support:
- Support the development and implementation of financial reporting tools, including BI platforms such as Power BI, Adaptive Insights, or Domo.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation in financial reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure data integrity and alignment between financial systems and reporting outputs.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Special Projects:
- Provide financial support for strategic initiatives, including pricing analysis, promotional strategies, and new business opportunities.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to assess profitability, trends, and business opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting, preferably within consumer goods or retail.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Insights, or Domo.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
