Job Description:

Finance Manager | Business Planning & Analysis

As part of our team at TJX, you will manage a team of Financial Analysts & Senior Financial Analysts to assist Senior Leadership with driving business decisions and supporting strategic financial initiatives for a multibillion-dollar business line. Your day-to-day will present challenges to drive impact for the leading off-price retailer in the world.

A successful candidate will work on multiple projects simultaneously that will be reviewed by Senior Executives. Further, you be asked to think critically, analyze effectively, and communicate efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the processes and activities of the finance division to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate reporting and analytics
  • Leading and overseeing workloads to ensure time critical projects are delivered as expected
  • Driving the development of analytical models to forecast and understand short- and long-term trends
  • Responsible for driving analysis to provide relevant Executive Level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunity
  • Coordinating / Performing standard reporting with excellent attention to detail
  • Playing a leadership role on projects & new initiatives
  • Delivering strategy and recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of Management
  • Managing and mentoring associates with training and professional development
  • Building relationships with operational partners across the business

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Public Accounting, Consulting, Investment Banking or other related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred; MBA a plus
  • Prior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a focus on associate training and development
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation development skills; ability to develop robust interactive excel models independently
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to deliver insights, recommendations, and results concisely and effectively to Executive Level management
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, removing obstacles and maintaining focus in complicated situations to deliver results for self and team
  • Promotes collaboration within team & cross-functionally and actively finds opportunities for improvements

This position has a starting salary range of $104,800.00 to $136,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
