The Internship

We are currently accepting applications for a Product Development Intern, working under our Science & Innovation team, for the fall of 2025. The primary responsibility of this intern is to support our Science & Innovation department by upholding testing requirements, assisting in product formulation, and coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers. You will thrive in this role if you are curious, innovative, organized, and have a strong attention to detail. 

Individuals selected for our Internship Program will actively contribute to our company’s growth while benefiting from hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development. Our internship program is based in the Seaport District of Boston. Throughout the semester, interns will work on impactful projects that directly influence our brand’s progress. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Development: Engage in in-depth research and innovative thinking to identify market trends and help create new products that address consumer needs and preferences.
  • Market Research: Analyze the competitive landscape using various data sources to conduct thorough competitive analyses and inform strategic product development.
  • Partner Meetings: Actively participate in weekly meetings with key external partners, tracking project progress, documenting detailed notes, and ensuring clear and accurate communication.
  • Product Sampling and Feedback: Oversee the testing of new products, collect and analyze feedback, and communicate findings to external partners to refine and enhance product offerings.
  • Supplement Fact Panels: Assist in formulating unique and effective product formulas, ensuring that all supplement fact panels meet regulatory standards and reflect product innovation.
  • Testing Requirements Compliance: Review and verify testing documentation to confirm product safety and accuracy of labels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with the Supply Chain and Marketing teams to facilitate smooth project execution and accelerate the launch of new products to the market.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, Masters, or MBA program at an accredited institution. This opportunity is open to all students, from first-year students to seniors, MS students, or MBA students.
  • Preferred: Pursuing a degree in a science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Nutrition, or a related discipline) with a strong interest in research, product development, and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e., work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze data, and identify trends.
  • Demonstrated interest in science and innovation, with a passion for developing new products and exploring industry trends.
  • A performance-focused, results-oriented approach - you will need a strong work ethic and drive to achieve results.
  • Ownership mentality, self-motivation, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks.
