Hours per Week: 16 hours per week over 2 days
Location: Two 8-hour days onsite at SharkNinja HQ (Needham, MA). There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
We are looking for a passionate intern who will thrive in a creative, dynamic work environment. As a member of the Product Development team, you will bring together a creative product marketing role and technical outlook to our creative efforts to ensure that imaginative but credible solutions populate our ambitious product roadmap. This role will be part of our growing Ninja Product Development team, working on flavors and beverage formulations for our innovative kitchen products.

This role will be part of our growing Ninja Product Development team, working on flavors and beverage formulations for our innovative kitchen products.
In this position, the Intern will work alongside the product developer to help bring new innovative products to market. Specifically, this position will be responsible for:
- Partnering with Product Development team members to help with the successful product launches of new and cutting-edge products
- Aiding Product Developers with maintaining their businesses through:
- Collaborating with Brand Marketing and Creative teams on updates to product packaging, and more
- Tracking our competitive landscape and providing analysis for areas of opportunity
- Coordination and execution of consumer research activities with internal and external testers in collaboration with Consumer Insights team
- Tracking of findings and action items from consumer research and product reviews
- Conducting ad-hoc analytical deep dives into consumer reviews - both Ninja products and competitors - to understand the consumer's point of view
- Aiding Product Developers with technical needs through:
- Assisting with product management activities for new product launches, product improvements, optimizations, and line extensions
- Executing beverage and ingredient analysis including: pH, TA, Brix and Flashpoint
- Assisting in the creation & development of beverage formulations, including bench top beverage development and formula creation
- Coordinating and executing consumer testing with sensory evaluation and report-out of findings to the team
- Working cross functionally to establish value engineering and cost down initiatives
- KPI testing/product definition/spec setting - in partnership with Sensory and Testing team members
- Sample management and coordination and for retailer meeting needs

- Willingness to be hands-on with product and engaged in internal consumer testing.
Education and Experience
- The ideal candidate will have completed at least one prior Internship or Co-op in a consumer products or lab focused role - Food Science preferred
- Must be a current student in a associate's, bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program
- Great communication skills
- Self-starter, energetic, keen to learn
- Flexible in approach
- Presentation skills - must be proficient with Powerpoint and comfortable developing and presenting to large groups either in person or over Teams
- Familiarity and working level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, Powerpoint
