Enterprise Technology at Aya is seeking an Enterprise Productivity Engineering team. You’ll help operate and improve our Microsoft 365 E5 environment (Exchange Online, Entra ID/Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), strengthen security and compliance, and automate repeatable work to keep our workforce productive.

Responsibilities: 

  • Operate Microsoft 365 E5: maintain Exchange Online (mail flow rules, encryption, anti-spam/phishing/malware, retention/archiving, eDiscovery), Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive, and Entra ID identity policies (MFA, Conditional Access).
  • Security & compliance hygiene: assist with DLP, ATP, and periodic audits/reviews in Purview and Defender; help drive ongoing policy improvements.
  • Automation & scripting: run and (over time) contribute to PowerShell automations for provisioning, reporting, and monitoring; support Power Automate flows that remove manual steps for business teams.
  • Incident/request handling: create/update ServiceNow tickets, investigate issues using KBs and logs, and escalate to Microsoft Premier support or vendors when needed.
  • Knowledge & documentation: capture troubleshooting steps and update KB articles; contribute to runbooks and how-tos.
  • Collaboration: partner with other IT teams to plan and execute changes with minimal disruption; communicate status and action plans to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of IT experience (or equivalent technical education) with exposure to Microsoft 365/Office 365 administration and systems engineering fundamentals.
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft admin portals
  • Basic PowerShell skills; comfortable running vetted scripts and learning to modify them with supervision.
  • Understanding of identity/security concepts: MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, ATP, and general best practices for protecting identities and data.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills—professional, upbeat, collaborative communicator (written and verbal).
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, and API integrations
  • Preferred: Experience with CloudAlly, LastPass, ServiceNow, Mimecast, and ShareGate.
  • Preferred: Experience coordinating escalations with Microsoft or third-party vendors.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $100,000 to $120,000. 

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
