In this role, you will:
- Plan and agree on engineering activities, set project priorities, and align them with the PM and Director of Engineering
- Manage and coordinate team work: plan and prioritize the engineering backlog, clarify tasks, monitor progress, and remove blockers to ensure smooth delivery
- Identify and address cross-team dependencies and risks, collaborating closely with other teams and services to eliminate bottlenecks
- Maintain strong team performance through clear guidance, skill gap analysis, and professional development support
- Ensure processes are efficient, reasonable, and foster collaboration
- Drive implementation and integration of technical solutions, development processes, and security requirements aligned with company and product strategies
- Participate in product-wide and company-wide engineering initiatives to improve business value and delivery capabilities
- Own and improve team engineering metrics (DX)
- Oversee operational HR processes for team members, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and career growth
Skills you'll need to bring:
- Proven macOS development experience
- Expertise in AI/ML integration and backend systems integration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align with stakeholders, PMs, and cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of SDLC and product delivery best practices
- Track record of enabling delivery by effectively managing risks, dependencies, and priorities
- People management skills: setting clear expectations, defining career paths, and supporting growth
- Commitment to engineering excellence: setting and maintaining high standards for quality, security, and delivery
- Solution-oriented mindset, focusing on achieving business goals rather than just meeting deadlines
