This role will be a summer internship during the summer of 2026 helping the PTC Education team develop resources for our Onshape education users, specifically for collegiate competitive teams.

You will help students and educators by creating example Onshape models, developing and updating tutorials/curriculum, and supporting partnerships with organizations like FIRST and SAE

The Education Team at PTC is made up of educators, engineers, sales, and marketing individuals that support students, educators, and schools worldwide by providing software and learning resources. We have a rapidly growing user base with evolving learning needs, including students in grade school all the way through graduate school. In developing our product and enablement materials, we strive always to put the customer first.

Your Day to Day:

  • Help create demo models for curriculum, sales, and marketing

  • Create new enablement content such as tutorials/videos for students and educators

  • Update existing content to reflect product updates and best practices

  • Support student teams through partners such as SAE & IREC

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Instructional Design, or Education

  • CAD Experience (Preferably Onshape)

  • Experience on a large group engineering project like FIRST, FSAE, or Baja SAE is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation Skills

  • Teaching/Mentorship experience is a plus

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour.  This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's major, degree currently being pursued and location.
