Job Title: Director or Solutions
Employment Status: Full-time 
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, in-office with 1 day WFH option
Location: Boston, Massachusetts 
Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 + variable comp + equity options
*OTE may be negotiated based on experience level

As a Ketryx Director of Solutions, you will lead and scale our high-performing Solutions Engineering team. This role goes beyond individual execution, focusing on team leadership, cross-functional alignment, and building the infrastructure to support sustainable growth. Someone who is a self-starter and eager to contribute new ideas and strategies in a fast-growing startup will do well in this position. In this role, you will be allowed the opportunity to implement your target-driven work ethic and support Ketryx's mission to impact 100 million patient lives by 2030. This position will be based in our Cambridge, MA office. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Scale the Solutions Engineering Function: Oversee the Solutions Engineering team, including team leads and individual contributors. Set the strategic direction, define success metrics, and ensure the team operates with consistency, clarity, and impact.
  • Coach and Develop Talent: Mentor Solutions Engineers. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning through structured career development, training programs, and performance feedback.
  • Establish and Optimize Processes: Design and refine scalable systems for onboarding, knowledge sharing, demo delivery, and customer engagement. Champion best practices across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the key liaison between Solutions Engineering and other departments (Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success). Ensure seamless handoffs, clear communication, and aligned objectives across functions.
  • Strategic Account Support: Serve as an executive sponsor or escalation point for high-impact opportunities. Guide solution architecture for strategic deals.
  • Drive Thought Leadership: Create and standardize technical narratives and solution architectures tailored to the unique regulatory challenges of our customers.
  • Measure and Improve Team Performance: Define KPIs, track performance, and continuously optimize based on business needs and customer feedback.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor industry trends, emerging regulations, and competitive movements to ensure our offerings remain best-in-class and compliant.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing roles, including at least 3 years in a team leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven success leading and scaling technical teams in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Deep understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, DevOps, and software development in regulated industries.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally at a leadership level.
  • Familiarity with software validation processes and regulatory frameworks 
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience building or restructuring a Solutions Engineering function.
  • Background in life sciences, medtech, or regulated software development.
  • Strong operational acumen with a track record of improving internal processes and team efficiency.
  • Previous experience in a Director or equivalent role in a SaaS company.
  • Previous startup experience.
